Yay! New comic! Two points here. Is this funny to people who know no 40K? I don't know. As usual, constructive criticism is very much appreciated.

Second point: A small 40K forum, of which I am a significant member, has fallen upon hard times at the moment. It is mainly about freeform 40K RPGs, but most of the members have vanished mysteriously over time, so we urgently need new members. The URL is http://s13.invisionfree.com/40K_Online/

The guns are meant to be multilasers, the larger more powerful rapid-fire version of lasguns. They're stronger and faster firing (not that it's hard to be more powerful than a lasgun).

yes, i'm new I liked all of them but i think you revealed that other guy's treachery too soon. But the "at least we didn't blow up," was a classic! But how did he get there?

Findle:Hmm... Thanks for the comments. I'm not sure what you mean by 'how did he get here'.

They were both in the spaceship, which was en route to the planet. The Adjutant (the guy with the black hair) launched a plot to kill the Captain (the old bald guy), but the Captain interfered and caused the ship to crash. That was the first comic: the ship was flying over the planet on its way down.
In the second comic, the ship crashed and exploded.
In the this comic, the third one, the Adjutant is trying to make his way out the ship, but runs into a problem with a heretical door.
In following comics... well, you'll see.

Do you think I should add a Cast page to make it clearer who is who? The cast will expand in time.

Personally, I think the Adjutant's treachery is very significant in his character, and the crashing of the ship is a dramatic beginning to the comic.

Finally, you may be interested to know of some advice I received: Namely, to reduce the text size (making it uniform between panels and comics) and to use smaller speech bubbles to avoid covering up too much of the artwork.

Sorry I'm afraid that there will be no comic this week. I have been busy with other things, and I haven't planned a joke. I might put up a cast page or something to make up for it.

Sorry again I know its bad form to miss a comic, and worse to miss it twice, but RL requirements - imminent coursework deadlines - prevent the arrival of a comic tomorrow. There will be one during the week if all goes well, however.

pfft this isnt turret is not part of the inquisition, if it was inquisition it would fire nukes for 20 years and then fire nukes for 10 years in his name then fire nukes for another 10 years in Chaos's name.
