Yes, on schedule for once... Lets see how long I can keep this going ;)

This was very much inspired by Irregular Webcomic (www.irregularwebcomic.net) and the various 'red line' jokes in its Cliffhangers theme.

I don't think I'm falling to the evils of 4th-wall breaking here, as they're not referring to anything outside the world of the strip, but in any case feedback is very much appreciated.

Nice idea with the red line! It really cracked me up. Maybe you should look to get more text into a comic, to make the big detail more worthwhile. I mean you spend hours on a strip that's read in a couple of seconds

Good joke, made me chuckle. But I agree with "Threeshades". We need longer and/or more text, to get the story really going. But I shall keep reading until they escape the ship or die horribly!

Thank you for all the kind comments! There should (hopefully) be a comic this weekend, but since I have much revision to do this might not be the case.

Edit: Sorry, taking that back. I have an exam tomorrow, and therefore a comic will be impossible. The same probably goes for next weekend, but after that point I'll finally be free of exams so a comic will become possible.

Hmm... what sort of change would you suggest? I'm probably not going to modify this comic, but it would be useful for future reference.

Since only the techpriest's eyes are visible, there's no expression that could be easily shown as far as I can tell.

Constructive Crits Hi there

I like the idea here, there's a lot of humour to be mined from the 40k universe. And some of the perspective work in the early strips shows you're capable of more than just aping Order of the Stick.

A couple of thoughts:
1. Reduce the strip size - the huge size of the page isn't justified by how much happens. Remember, the time you spend on art isn't wasted even when it's shrunk; in fact it looks more detailed.
2. You could benefit from having more than one gag in a strip. In some cases the build up is too long for a simple (and in cases predictable) gag. There are lots of ways to get character humour in that aren't just "set up set up and punchline!"

Keep it up, enjoy what you do.

2 months? Wow. Well, there could be a comic this weekend... or I could just be getting your hopes up, only to dash them once again! Dash them, I say!

In other words, you'll just have to wait and see :P

Edit: The comic's looking a bit unlikely now; I'll try to make it today but I can't promise I will.

Edit again: Well, the comic is scripted and ready for drawing, but I don't have time right now, so it will have to be tomorrow. :)

Edit again, again: Or not. Sorry, work is very annoying :s Next week I'll be less busy. Really.

Edit 3again: Well, the first panel is done. Yes, it's taking a long time... on the other hand, you can all look forward to gratuitous perspective ;)

Edit again*4: The comic's halfway done. Since there are a load of new characters (albeit, temporary characters... ;)), and I'm using perspective shots in every panel, the comic's taking longer to draw. For a preview of some of my characters, check the OotS-style art/fanart thread on GiantITP.
